Seven of Nine Refused To Perform Public Sex

This was quite a buried little chocker in the news today.


This happened years ago. But the court divorce papers were just released now.

Her husband apparently was a louse that insisted she perform sex in a public sex club while others watched. She refused. He apologized. Then on another trip he tried to get her to do it again. And again on another trip.

They are now divorced. But the reason their court papers are now public is that her husband is a US Senator candidate, republican Jack Ryan. The Chicago Tribune and Chigago WLS News sued to have them unsealed. The judge believed the public has a right to know.

My opinion of Miss Ryan actually went up a bit after reading this. Though I don't know anything of her to really make any reasonable judgements.

Though I wouldn't vote for her exhusband.

My opinion of Miss Ryan actually went up a bit after reading this. Though I don't know anything of her to really make any reasonable judgements.

I was fortunate enough to meet Ms. Ryan at a convention during her first season of Voyager was being shown. At the time, she was a young, recently divorced actress who lived with her mother and was taking care of her young son and getting her career going. She was wonderful with the crowd and was great to talk to while getting an autograph.

I think that she did better the second time around the "marriage-go-round" when she married Trek producer Brannon Braga - he may be part of the equation that is sinking the Trek franchise, but I've always heard good things about him on a personal level.

Jeri did the right thing when she divorced the jerk - age difference or not, asking your wife to perfom sex in a public place is a sign that he's of the lowest moral stature and hardly good marriage material, or someone you would want to raise a son with....

I recently heard that Jeri Ryan has released a brief statement. Basically she says that she was never physically abused, and to her knowledge her husband never cheated on her. And she thinks he would be a good senator.
