I reading a rant by some crazed loon…Universal yadda-yadda Glen Larson yadda-yadda. It did get me thinking the logic seems plain as day, why was Battlestar Galactica not brought back to television say around the second or third season of Voyager? When viewers wanted more Trek was starting its third series. Why not then it’s like Star wars all over again as far as timing goes.

So put on your Newsflash Galactica helmets and tell me why?

I'm guessing...

i think it was probably Lawsuits over who owned the license. But then after that hurdle was cleared and DeSanto was going fullbore, 9-11.

I think a film's history is no longer a study of a writer's creativity reaching a screen, but a chronology of money allocation and lawsuits.

This is going to sound nuts....but I think the actual answer is that Universal forgot they owned it.
