I don't know about the cat being in the kettle but here is a story for you. We used to have a lot of fun with our five children at Christmas time. One time we hid all their gifts. Another time we brought their gifts out in three stages. Making it seem like we had three Christmases instead of one. They never knew what to expect on Christmas morning. Well one Christmas we decided to hide their stockings in a large kettle. Bombadil put the kettle right out in plain sight. That was one of the funniest Christmases we ever had. It took them over an hour to find the stockings. A Brittish fellow we had staying with us that Christmas found them early on but he was a bit of a practical joker and decided to play along instead of giving away the secret . Anyway in our case it was the Christmas stockings that were in the kettle.

Cradle, Kettle, what's the difference? For a cat, it's just something to sleep in!

ok well not visually bad but due to a photographic memory and an unfortunate ability to recall only the really gross stuff a particular image from an Asian documentary from several years back came vividly to me as I listened one in which cute little caged dogs and puppies (waging their tails and those big trusting eyes) were on the menu at an Asian restaurant and a man coming in and selecting the one he wanted to eat and then the restaurant employee reaching into the cage....well you get the idea.:(
