I'm using phpmychat. Had problems cause Norton Firewall prevented me from seeing my own chat program. Norton Firewall will block phpmychat. Nothing we can do about that at this point. I tried a bunch of other programs, most were too expensive or added advertisements or such that made it look tacky.

Wish I had the money to install a real chat server. But I guess its going to be phpmychat or bust.

The chat is tonight!!!

Mac users: if you have a screen refresh problem (if it flickers like mad) Once the screen has drawn: click and hold on the down scroll arrow (or inside the chat window if the arrows don't appear yet) release when you've caught up reading. Using the down arrow as your click point keeps the screen scrolling down to the bottom.

Register if you're not and see you at BG.com in about 3.5 hours.

At least the Pacific time scheduling works out good for me - I won't have to miss the season finale of Enterprise! :D

Oh, don't worry.... I've got a TV in viewing range of my PC! I'm gonna tape Enterprise just in case I get carried away during the Dirk chat.... I've got some questions for that man!

You know something - It would have been a lot easer (and faster) if you only had to register for all the chats just ONE time and the same handle and password would work for all of the chats.... I know it's a bit late to make that observation, but I just had to run around and make sure that I was registered for all of them.....

I think it may have been possible to have used just one database. In the config file we list our database and server. By linking instead of localhost we use one specific mysqyl database, say on bg.com, then it could have worked. All the chats would have looked differently, but it might have worked.

I actually had a thought of having different styles at once. Two users seeing different styles. Its the same principle for users to use different sites.
