Walmart had it for $14.44. It is a double-sided disk with the movie on one side and the promo for the mini and game on the other. Does anybody know if they got the demensions for the Widescreen correct this time?

Jewels it is out where the $14.44 dvds are in whatever store you are shopping at. I saw it and almost fell on the floor. Sales can only help our effort to show that Larson is a commodity when it comes to BG.

I picked one up at the local Best Buy ($14.99) a few weeks before I bought the epic series collection. To be honest, since I bought the collection, I've neglected the theatrical release. The complete collection on DVD simply rocks!

I checked once in Suncoast Motion Picture - they had both versions in at the same time. The Widescreen Ratio was exactly the same - they made no corrections or changes except in packaging and the added "extras".

I just wish that they would release a version of the pilot recorded in Dolby 5.1 surround. All that's available is the crappy mono version.
I know that the whole series collection has been remastered to 5.1, but I'm really not a series-buying type of guy.

If it's any incentive, "Saga of a Star World" sounds fantastic in Dolby Surround with the 5.1 remastered version! That in itself has gotten me to watch "Saga" more than once just to hear it in such beautiful clarity. It is also quite nice to revisit the 2-part episodes (Lost Planet of the Gods, Gun on Ice Planet Zero, War of the Gods & The Living Legend) whenever I want to...
You might want to cruise eBay and see if you can get the series set at a discounted price.
Best,
Bryan
