Greetings, all!
April is rapidly coming to a close, and as of 11:15 pm EST, the CFF fund stands at $5,431.00. We've come a long way in less than two months!
Ad #1 is now definitely a done deal, now let's work together to close out April on a high note! We need less than $570 to finish April with $6,000 in the bank. I just got a wonderful letter tonight from a woman in the Netherlands, which has been posted on the Feedback page of http://www.colonialfanforce.org. The CFF effort has garnered worldwide attention from fans just like you who long to see the classic BSG Universe restored in all its glory on the Silver Screen.
For many of us, payday is right around the corner, and if you haven't contributed yet, now is the perfect time!
So, if you can all afford it... I urge you to make a highly symbolic contribution of $19.78 to the CFF before midnight on Friday, 30 April 2004. If only 30 people can find it in their BSG Hearts (and wallets) to donate roughly the cost of two movie tickets (not including popcorn ;)), we'll be able to start May with only $4,000 left to go to ensure the campaign's ultimate success.
The CFF effort has not only garnered international fan attention, but Larson and DeSanto are both aware of our activities, and there has never been a more appropriate time for TOS fans to come together and make a difference.
Together, we can bring back our heroes and make some new ones in that wonderful Universe we call Battlestar Galactica!
