"If you've stepped away from the Cylon Alliance, I humbly asked you to give it another chance."
Not in a million yahrens. And that is my only comment on that subject.

Oh, give it up. You ran off becuase you wouldn't face up to a callout. That has nothing to do with this.

I left, because I refused to play in the sandbox with a mentally ill person. And I have no regrets for taking that course of action because my life and my time belongs to myself and not to any list moderator.
If you want to start a pissing contest with me about this, then do so in private because I am not going to let that happen here.

That would be most preferable folks.
Thanks in advance. :)

Thanks Jewels.
Just to settle the above issue ...
Eric,
I assure you, you couldn't have been further from my mind when I wrote this apology. I don't regret anything I've said to you and have no desire to have you back in any capacity. I feel all of my comments regarding you were directly on target and I don't regret a single statement in that regard. Cylon.org is not for everyone and can be a hard place for those unwilling to stand by their words or defend their attacks on others. It was specifically designed to be problematic for people who are liars, insincere, or unwilling to play on a level playground. You've shown that it was never designed for people like you. I hope you enjoy your other haunts. My section of the Hundred Acre Woods is better off without you, just as you seem to be better off without it.
The apology was for those whom I might have offended who might not have earned it. Neither the apology nor the included invitation were for you so you don't have to worry about it.

That makes two of us.

Nor I about you. But I at least take comfort from the fact that in a decade of involvement in Galactica discussion boards, I have formed a number of warm friendships that I cherish with some truly wonderful people and if those wonderful experiences I have had made me naive to the fact that people of less than stellar character can exist in those kinds of forums as well, then I can at least thank you and your board for enlightening me otherwise to a cold reality of life.

I think we both understand each other well. There is mutual contempt between us, and there is no point in trying to hash that out in this place or any other and wasting our lives on that point since it will never be resolved. What there should at the very least be is a respect for the people of this forum, which does not belong to either of us, to agree to steer clear of any provocations on that point if we end up crossing paths on any other threads. For us, World War III has ended in a standoff and that is that.

Thank you gentlemen (Sandy and Eric) for resolving that in a civil manner.
Sandy, you are still welcome in my neck of the woods, and I have the feeling that goes for a lot of the CF staff too. Just, er, keep clear of each other, allright?

Eric,
I agree. It would have been nice for you to realize that before you opted to turn my apology to others into your own private attack. You could have easily steered clear of any provocations by remaining silent and allowing the apology to go to those it was meant for without being muddled along the way.

Ok, that ends this part of the thread. Eric, if you've got anything more to say, please do it in PM.
This is back to being just responses to the original apology.
