Today (according to that little box at the bottom of the forums page) marks a landmark event: Today, Peter Noble, a very long-standing member of BSG fandom, celebrates the 40th anniversary of his birth. Or hatching, depending on who you talk to.

40 - the land of increasing gray in receding hairlines, laugh lines that get a bit deeper, ears that don't hear so good anymore.

In other words, the prime of life.

Gray hair what gray hair? and my hearing is fine! wrinkles ?????? now I forget what I was here for something about a celebration for something 'cause I remember seeing a bunch of cakes, oh ya a birthday, someones birthday, hang on it's coming back to me tha's right Peters birthday.

Thanks everybody for the kind wishes.

They say life begins a 40, I certainly hope so!

I'm currently wearing my Scooby Doo socks that my nephew got me and on either side of my computer is a Planet of the Apes figure – Col. Taylor and Luscius a present from a couple of friends. There are 19 alltogether so 17 more to go, they're really well done, I hope the BSG figures are as good.

From my friends I went to college with, I've got a load of Sherlock Holmes books to read, so as I've got a week off from work I'll make inroads into them.
