I was wondering if anyone else had any thoughts on this. I have played the game on the x box, and I was blown away with the cutscenes, especially the opening. It may only have been a few minutes long, but it lives in my mind as something much more realistic and true to form as new origional BSG entertainment than the new 2003 version. Absolutley every thing from the sounds of the lasers, the turbos and the voice overs brought back the feeling of opening a lost treasure chest of unseen goodies. The animation was ...well gobsmacking. All these little things are what made the show its own identity, and leaving it out in the 2003 version was a major faux pas. One other thing it have over than BSG2003 was the music is there at the beginning of the game just after the intro. Just like a proper eposode.
Why cant someone make a computer generated BSG movie? If its as good as the games movie scenes then you wont be dissapointed. (Just think. Toy story and monsters inc were CGI, why not BSG?)

I suggested a CGI series in another post, were the original cast could come back and do their voices (Baltar and Adama would have voice impersonator). They would start from the beginning and then move on from there (no need to have 20 year + continuation, since the CGI characters would not be old).

I agree, I thought the CG in the game was ten times better than in the mini. My only hope is that because the same studio did those animations as will in the series, we'll expect the same quality. My favorite cutscene so far is the one where the Galactica hides out in that cometary debris. That was the most fantastic, exciting, and probably most realistic scene I've ever seen.

Has anybody suggested to the "powers that make movies" the idea of a CGI version?
