I'm sure this has been asked/kicked around before but since I'm new here I thought I'd get some of your thoughts on what was actually seen by "Starbuck " and "Apollo" in "War Of The Gods" on the planet surface?
I know Iblis says "You will see your father...The Legendary Commander Cain Again" to "Sheba", but he never promises "ALIVE". Why would Starbuck and Apollo not want her to look inside unless "Cains" body was in there?
It seemed like it was insinuated that the wreckage on the planet surface was the remains of the "Pegasus" after her fight with the two Base Stars, but it's never confirmed. What are your takes on this, and is there any reason to think that this was just a ruse by "Iblis" to take control of "Sheba"? :warrior:

What they didn't want her to see was the cloven hoofs.
It was always insuated that Cain was still alive and simply keeping
Radio Silence.

Count Iblis,
Welcome to the Fleets!
You're right, the issue was discussed a while back. Here's the link to it --

There were some rather fascinating insights into 'what they saw'.

Watch out for that codene shiningstar, it can really knock you out. Hope it helps whatever pains you're having though.
Count Iblis:
Repcisg pointed out in another thread recently (and we were kinda off topic so I'm just going to paraphrase into my own words it as I remember it.) Glen loved the Pegasus and it is his so you can rest assured that it is out there somewhere in deep space waiting for it's time to reappear. ;)

Thanks for the Link/I found that answered most of my questions. I guess It's what makes for really enjoyable episodes, in that we can all get different points of view to consider. I found reading the various explanations given by the many of you that commented to be plausable, possible, and interesting points, some of which I had not considered before.
Thanks from the bottom of my "Cloven Hoofs"........Iblis
"Excuse me......A house just fell on my sister.
