Neon Genesis Evangelion Live Action Movie

Anyone have any casting thoughts for the live action movie? Considering the depth of the Anime series, I'm somewhat concerned how the movie will pan out. At least WETA is doing the effects. Some of the drawings that have been released look pretty sweet though.

Wow, live action Eva movie would be cool. That could have a lot of potential. I also think that Cowboy Bebop would be a neat Live action movie too. Spike from Bebop is one of my favorite anime heros.

But this is about Eva ... I don't know of any possible actors/actresses to play the roles, but here's a good question: will they have to be teens?

In the WETA concept art (which you can see in the Evangelion Genesis DVD), Rei (named Ray in the concept drawing) and Askuka (renamed 'Kate Price') appear to be in their late teens. The rumors are that it will be mostly a western/european cast.

Yea I have also heard that about the cast. I am not hoping for too much, except I am sure WETA will do an amazing job on the effects.
