Girls, gilrs GIRLS! You don't wait for a man; you be the best you can be and they find you; and if they don't well ya still got some work to do. Me pfft.... I'm into having a ball right now without the romance thingl I mean I came into this world alone; I'll leave alone... better get used to being this way. I'm alone but not really lonely; times yeah aren't we all? I'd rather be alone and happy than with someone that makes me miserable! :colada: :alien: so enjoy it. ( Don't I know that green guy from somewhere... hmm may be i dated him)

Have Fun!!!!!!!!

I'm not waiting as in wasting time hoping blah blah blah just waiting as in it would be nice to find someone you would like to spend the rest of your life with and he hasn't shown up yet . I don't need the romance thing so much, It's not about flowers and candy for me it's more about connecting with another soul on a profound level, and doing little things for each other to make each other happy (it's all about the little gestures for me) I'm way to much of a loner to not enjoy being alone, but life is so much more richer when you have someone to share it with . the other glitch is despite my age I would still like to have kids and well time is flying. Of course you are right much better to be alone than being with someone who makes you miserable.
does that explain it better?:) and well as for having fun that's going to have to wait for the most part till I've graduated and am making money

I agree I am still waiting too, but I'm not letting life pass me by either.
I have a great family and friends that I spend time with, but still haven't found Mr. Right. I keep finding MR. WRONG

Well, we are all in this together. I thought I had Mr. Right, and I ignored all the warning signs at the beginning. I have been divorced for 19 years and have not had so much as a date and right noe I am the happiest I have ever been. I may desire a man, but at this point in my life, I do not need one.....but....if Mr. Right should come along...I'll not shut the door in his face.....

Good words. The keepers do seem to find you when you are actively looking but are actively enjoying being yourself.

Darth honey are you offering? ;) Gaelen, It's okay, I'm not raggin' you, honey, we have all been there at some point. I find that if you really tune into someone like you say you can tell what is gonna jive and not. i just found what jives with me for the long haul and I won't settle for anything less. I mean my ex and and I are still friends and at times he calls me up just to hear my calm and soothing voice! We still are great pals and that's what i hope my future brings me.

I don't do jealousy.... you want him.... you take him.... He's not for me if he does not know himself well enough or has taken enough time to know me if that game is the game played that's too short-sighted and I don't have the time.

Love of self comes first because if you don't love who you are on good and bad days you will attract those that will use and abuse you; i talk from experience because I have been hurt a few times; but that does not mean I can't love again; in fact it proves I have i can love and love well but it begins inside not out. No one can give you love that you don't have inside of you first.

Take it easy all !

Yes a man's perspective helps alot!

My friend Richard used to give me advice, not that I always took it, but at times it did help to see where the guy is coming from. So........... don't get scared away Braxis, I promise not to be tough on you:)

I gave up after one Mr. Wrong and she says...that ain't right..........

One thing I found was that I had to get out 'there' and meet people.
I met my hubby at the BOWLING alley .........as I nearly killed a lady
behind me as my fingers slipped out of the ball and the ball went
the 'wrong' way
