There were and always will be those who you long to catch a glimpse of flashing their pearly whites at you. Your heart skips a beat and you sigh. ahh

Who in either series (or one from each) was/is in your opinion to be the hottest piece of *** in the BSG universe?

For me, it's a close call, but Athena is the one.

I am going with Athena overall and Boomer in the mini!

As a good husband I'll say they are the ones that remind me most of my wife.

I have always been partial to the tan dark haired types.

If you're talking about GUYS ...........I had a huge crush on Bojay and Jolly when
the series aired so I'd have to say those two

Jolly? I would have never guessed. I guess there's hope for all us past our prime men with a couple extra pounds.

Who was Jolly in real life and did he ever do anything again? Is he even alive?

I never saw him or Boomer before Battlestar Galactica or since. I always thought we should have seen Boomer somewhere else. He seemed like a handsome and good actor. Jolly on the other hand I thought was lucky to get the role. Having a "normal" guy like Jolly in the show however made it seem all the more plausible.

I'm going with the majority and say Boomer from the mini. (If her makeup and hair weren't so washed out I'd vote for #6 cuz I've seen her in other shots and she IS quite the hottie)

Yes it did make the show more plausible having him in the show.
Herb the guy who played boomer is still around mostly at conventions as
far as I know.

For me .........I never went for the looks of a guy ........I went for the attitude,
and compassion .............that's how I netted hubby .......I fell in love with his
heart along time before I fell in love with his looks. He was actually good
looking but that's not what I loved him for ............. ;)

OK Gaelens weighing in on this one

If were talking about cute face nice body then TOS Apollo and Mini Apollo. But if we are talking about who I think is Hot (meaning a response) then it has nothing to do with looks for me and everything to do with who they are as a person. I've dated every body type there is out there so long as he had a good, kind heart and warm eyes and if thats the criteria then Apollo for TOS and Tyrol for the Mini but I have to add that Tactical officer Lt. Gaeta is a close second.:)

Serina in TOS with Sheba a close second. No one in the mini.

In the DVD collection, on the special audio track of "Saga of a Star World," where Richard, Dirk and Herb's discuss the series as the show plays, Richard mentions that Tony Swartz is still working in the business, but is now a behind-the-scenes production guy.

When I was a paratrooper back in 1993 I remember one particular night combat equipment jump when standing by the jump door was a young petite beautiful blond Air National Guard female loadmaster on the C-141 I was jumping out of. She had a beautiful voice to listen to even over the noise of the aircraft. I always thought if I jumped into battle it sure would be nice to hear a voice like hers and see her image prior to entering the darkness above the drop zone.

I think the image of Rigel and the sound of her voice saying "Launch when Ready" prior to departing for combat would have the same effect on a colonial warrior. It's too bad they never really gave her a storyline in TOS. On the other hand her youthful beauty and the sound of her voice can leave a lot to the imagination.

Jack is thin but i'll tell you he's an absolute gas! Hilarious and does not mince words. We were in the elevator going up to the main dinner seating at Galacticon with Jack and his wife. This was right after Ron's speech on the mini series and Jack basically said what he thought. But later in the lobby when alot of us got together with DeSanto was the fun part. Jack just ripped into Ron Moore and it was a gas listening to him!

yup. All of them are tall. Don, Mark, Michael, Lee, Richard, Scott.... Thank Goodness for Tom DeSanto! Someone I can "look up to" without looking up! I was beginning to think Galactica belonged to the land of the Giants.

I like tall guys, but not always. I make decisions on a case by case basis. As for TOS - Starbuck was the one for me, he's why I started watching The A-Team when it came out. As for anyone else on TOS, I think I'll need to put the DVD set on my birthday wish list, as I haven't seen any of the eps in forever and a day.
As for the new series, well, I think Tyrol is handsome and has a great personality, so he would be #1, but Apollo is intriguing & I look foward to getting to know more about both characters when the series airs.

Then "Gaelen " has the same definition, mind you not the same emphasis placed on women to be tall.
As for tall men I decided long ago after dating men over 6 feet tall that I don't like having to climb up on chairs to get a kiss! kind of takes away from the spontaneity:)

Well, with the original series it was Apollo - Starbuck was cuter, but I've always loved the solemn and brooding type... until I married one (man, are they high maintenance).

As for the mini... hmmm... I guess I'd have to go with Captain Kelly. Tall, well built, young - but not too young, respected, good heart. Yeah... I'll pick Kelly.

I like Apollo, but not head over heels. Tyrol's got the heart, that's for sure. Okay - shoot me - of the main players I'd take Adama <g> - yes, the eldest. Aside from thinking EJO is pretty fantastic for a start, there's something about lusting after guys way younger than me that just doesn't work <g>. He's got the spirit, the strength, and yeah- even the looks. I'd put Adama in a close second.
