I think Hand of God. I love the Celestial Dome set: it's just stunning. Of course I would love it more if there was a space like that someday that regular people could go look at the stars while cruising through space. Mmmmmm.

That would be "Saga of a Star World" for me....especially now that I have the complete, un-cut episode on DVD. That ep plays so well in surround sound - the music, the sound effects.....it's wonderful. The episode has so many good character scenes - some really moving and others played with just the right amount of humor without going over the edge. I know that it's not the "perfect" BSG episode, but it is the one I've watched the most.

Damn, talking about it makes me want to pop it in for another viewing - maybe tomorrow night!

I have watched Saga of A Star World the most often but actually enjoy Living Legend the best. I know this is sacriledge but on my all time favorites the mini comes in tied at number three/four of all TOS/BSG80/mini episodes with the Count Iblis episodes.

My kids love "Fire in Space" They were the ones who pointed out to me that
even though Apollo and Starbuck left their "tethers" behind in order to save
time ............. They both were still being held up by two lines each .............

They asked me if God was using them for 'fishing' bait :D

When I was 10 my parents moved us out of Montreal and into the nearby countryside I started to notice the night sky because there were no street lamps or close neighbours, after Star Wars came out my interest in outer space hit an all time high and my father introduced me to the constellations and pointed out falling stars and satellites moving across the nights sky. I remember the thrill just thinking about it, mixed with the disappointment that we were not technologically advanced enough to be like Star Wars. I remember the profound longing I held in my heart to be up there among the stars having adventures. But then one day BSG did the story “The Lost Warrior” and my imagination took off what if that could happen to me? I wouldn’t have to wait for my planet to become technologically advanced I could just hope that some other technologically advanced society would just pop by and scoop me up and take me with them. Well from then on (so that I didn’t miss this possible opportunity) I started sleeping outside in the summer (especially in August best time for meteorite showers) under the stars in my dads old sleeping bag curled up with the family dog waiting and watching for him to come. So definitely The Lost Warrior

A very NICE post indeed. When BSG was on we lived in a city in TX ..........
not safe to sleep outside then. I much prefer where I'm living now ..........
Now the only things my kids have to fear are God's creatures on Four legs
and not the ones on TWO. We are often out side in the cold night air ......
We too have seen the constellations, and the falling stars.

Thanks for the Memories Gaelon ........... I too sometimes think of myself
