Does anyone here appreciate the classic BBC/UK SCi-FI series Blake's 7. This ran on the BBC from 1978-81?

I love it. I think Peter Noble is into it as well.

The *region 2* DVD box set of Blake's 7 season 1 was released in the UK yesterday - I probably will buy it sooner or later.

Being only 5 years old when it began in 1978, I guess I only appreciated it then for being Sci-fi (perhaps I was too young - given some of it's plots), but watching subsequent re-runs on UK satellite TV, I've begun to understand the complexities of the show. True, it was done on a low budget, and sometimes got a bit silly, but I think for a homegrown UK sci-fi show of that era, it did quite well.

All the best,

Blake's 7 yeah I remember that show I was 8 when it came out, good fun a bit dark at times, I enjoyed the show alot when Blake and avon (not sure of the name) how seemed to be a torn in Blake's side.
I am not sure of this but blake betrays the crew in the end of the show didn’t he??
I lost interest in the show after the lead left and the liberator destroyed.
