Tyrol

Hey all.
Good work on being patient for all of you who were. For those who have wished it, you now have your show.
I still read this from time to time but have resisted posting as I am being respectful of Sci-fi and thier right to announce and answer questions at the most appropriate time.
I hope to come back soon to answer questions pertaining to me and my thoughts on Tyrol but I will wait until I am officially in the show. I do not have a contract and neither myself or my agent have heard anything regarding Tyrol at this point. I believe that the studio is working very hard putting everything in place that is required to create a TV show. I hopefully will hear soon and then I will try to make some time to stop by. In the meantime feel free to drop some questions and I will try to answer them in a timely fashion.
Some of you have lost your ability to have questions answered so don't bother asking.
I think you know who you are.
Nothing makes me more proud at this point than to know that Koenigrules et. al. have been clearly vindicated. Good for you guys.
If I still sound a little bitter...I am.
But for those of you who I love...I love you guys and gals.HOPEFULLY BACK SOON

Aaron, congrats. You know how I feel about BSG03 (if you remember my posts from before) and how I feel about your character and performance. I am happy for you if you are signed up. If not, then it's total madness. But I really can't imagine Tyrol's set up in the mini not being expanded on. You'll get the call soon no doubt. Best of everything to you, and the best of you into your role.

Aaron, I am troubled that you are angry. No one should give you nothing but respect. if anyone is giving him grief, BACK OFF.

Aaron, just please hang here. Don't really care myself to suck ya on the "what's new" thing. People shouldn't either. Don't matter if you are an actor, an artist, or just a fan. Everyone that loves the show is welcome here. Just come hang with us. Have fun. Everyone please give him his space. And lets all have fun.

I certainly hope they tender you a contract soon and a long term one at that :). Tyrol to me is one of the central characters they can expand upon. It would be nice to have an episode where you can be the focus, like other shows do to showcase one character/actor. IMHO, it's a nice way to allow an actor to show their range and abilities for possible future projects.

Just a quick question. Do you have any desire to eventually direct? I've noticed many actors going behind the camera and directing shows now.

Cheers:)

No no no. I am fine. I now know who and which questions to avoid.
Directing takes and enormous amount of time and energy. I, like most actors, would love to do it but I would wait until I am absolutely ready. The directors are always working, never sleeping. I have a great respect for those who can do this and remain civil.
I don't think I will make it to Nashville next month but you never know. I may be shooting...hopefully.

Hi Aaron! Wow, reading your post, makes me worried too. If you need a jedi in your corner, just holler! ;)

Any news on any conventions in your future? Are you going to make it to Dragoncon? ;)

I wish you greatness and luck! And its been an honor to have you here and to talk to! :)

Hello again Aaron. I'd surely like to know what happened as well. It got pretty intense here for a while as you well know. I, myself am in the same boat as you. Having worked for the company (Zoic) that produced the FX for the show i pretty much recieved alot of negative feedback myself. Since i own this place and have taken a bigger role around here i'd surely like to strike an accord with you or any other cast member of the new show. I am a continuation fan Aaron as most will tell you but i also care about people.

The things that transpired here that made you uncomfortable should not have happened. I apolgize for that and hope we can at least move forward towards better things.

I'm first and foremost a fan of the original...praying for a continuation...but Moore's BG definitely holds my interest and I'm anxious for these 13 eps to air. (Ok, beyond anxious!) I wish you all the best, Aaron (and a good contract with the series to boot) and thank you so much for not giving up on Colonial Fleets. IMO, it's a very special site and we need good people like you around as much as possible.

I don't think I will make it to Nashville next month but you never know. I may be shooting...hopefully.

I'll add in my own hope for that and cross my fingers and toes for ya, and hope for the best. SciFi would be insane not to include your character, so I'm not too worried, but then again, it is SciFi...

No, no, no, I won't go there. The new BSG just wouldn't be the same without you and it wouldn't be a good sort of different, either.

btw Aaron. We have an "ignore" feature here. If someone is bothering you, you can put people on your personal ignore-list and you won't receive PMs and the program will blank out their postings as it sends webpages to you. Its a very clever program.

I haven't tested it though. Admins and mods can't really ignore anyone. Bummer. :)

Good luck Aaron! I can't see them making the show without your character. I think Tyrol is the closest thing to the original Starbuck they have and see the potential for a Tyrol, Boomer, Callie love triangle storyline just like the old Starbuck, Cassiopeia, Athena one in TOS. As such it would be insane to eliminate your character from a series. I think you'll get the answer you want. I don't want to see anyone eliminated but if actor cost is a consideration I think I would be more worried if I was playing the character of Duella, Roslin's Secretary, or the Operations Officer role in the CIC. Even a costly actor like the fine lady playing President Roslin I think could be replaced with a less famous actor before they focused in on you. I think and hope you will have a nice run as Tyrol in the new series. As a good actor, a fan favorite, and not quite a mega star yet I think you are in a good spot to be in via SCIFI.

Aaron I know 3 examples of people who are looking forward to the New BG because it contains gritty elements that remind them of Space Above and Beyond. In my opinion this series will attract a large number of fans of that series.
Just wondering if you ever saw it and what you thought of it.

I add my Warhammer to Kristi's bid.

Glad to see you're at least lurking here, Aaron.

Hope you get an offer soon.
