Just wanted to let you know this is a totally different program. It is much better than the old one, though its a beta. But sofar its pretty good. Its the version up from the one we had.
if you haven't tried it, you can highlite a section of text on the page, drag it to the quick reply, then press the "make it a quote" button. its kinda cool. or to quote a whole post, click the little icon at the bottom of the screen with a paper and a question mark, then click the "quote message in reply" checkbox.
Also in the list of threads posted you can hold your mouse over the cursor to get a sample of the text before you click. :)
Also there is this little icon of a circle with two chevrons inside. It will collapse sectioins of the webpage to conserve room for you. And the forums remember the settings from page to page. :)
its just alot of nice goodies you may like. :)

Tom -
I do like the new forum features - it seems a bit easier to navigate too. I was wondering why Fleets didn't look exactly the same.... I have only one request......I want a dancing Cylon...! Dancing Daggits, Dancing Beavers, where is my Dancing Cylon.....hmmm?
Best to you and keep up the great work!
Bryan

Just wondering if it is the beta, or because this place may only be temporary?

Tom -
I can send you a salmon steak recipe I just tried - I can't make stuff up on my own, but give me directions to go by and I do just fine...
Burned the salad, eh? That takes some doing (and imagination!)!
Best,
Bryan

Funny you should mention that. My older sister was prodded by my mom to try her hand at a share of the cooking, when she was about 16. My mom was gone that evening, so we were at the mercy of someone with /zero/ experience. After some dabating, she decided to make pea soup - cuz how could that go wrong? It was the powdered kind.
15 minutes later, the curtains in the kitchen were on fire and the smell of burnt pea soup enveloped the house. Why you ask?
She didn't add any water! :wtf:
:muffit:
P.S. Ever since we've called her "cheffy"
