This might have been mentioned in another thread already, but I thought I would make a post on it:
If you search for "Battlestar Galactica 2003" in the DVD section at amazon.com, they are listing it with no release date yet. But they have a field where you can send in your e-mail address for an update when it is scheduled for release.
The page suggests that the DVD will be released based on demand for it. So, if you're interested in buying the DVD, even if it isn't through amazon, you might want to let your voice be heard.
The comments section on the miniseries, both pro- and anti-, are also interesting reading as well.
