The new February issue of UK satellite broadcaster Sky's customer magazine has several articles previewing the new Galactica mini-series (given 4 stars out of 5?!), being transmitted that month, including an interview with Jamie Bamber.
But I'd thought I'd post this one first as I think does a bit of a disservice to what inspired the mini in the first place.....
A superior, no-expense-spared update of the original TV series. In the future, humanoid robots turn on mankind, and the crew of one ship led by Commander Adama (Edward James Olmos) returns to Earth to reclaim it. With a host of great special effects, a multinational cast and a stirring orchestral soundtrack, this Battlestar Galactica banishes all thoughts of the original Dirk Benedict - a bit of a triumph.
Now I know that magazines like this are trying to encourage people to watch their programmes, but hey - a little credit where credit is due I think.....
