I know, I know, you all must think I've gone movie mad this month. Probably have, LOL!
Just saw League of Extraordinary Gentlemen on PPV -- one word, OUTSTANDING! I liked it even better than X Men, and I thought /that/ one was great! End to end exciting and so many visual effects studios they should've called it the League of Extraordinary Number of Effects Studios, LOL! For those who haven't heard, it's an adventurous romp about the world by an unlikely group of fictional characters who just happen to really be alive. Sean Connery plays Allan Quattermain, and I gotta say, he looks absolutely fantastic! Last year I had been concerned that they were taking too long to do Indy 4 and neither Harrison nor Connery are getting any younger. But I've seen both of them recently and they're as fit and believable as action heroes as they ever were! Connery truly shines in this. It's so good to see the best Bond at his best again. :)
I was enthralled with this entire flick. And for you Hulk fans, you get a chance to see more hulkish magic with a similar character - but I won't say what in case you haven't seen it. Even my daughter couldn't resist watching, and she /never/ watches live action flicks.
I can't say enough - well, I'll stop my blatherin' now and let you all get to bed.
