In the words of Kosh on B5, "And so it begins!"

Well, it's listed as "season one" and "episodic", rather than a miniseries. That answers one question, at least for now.

But, there's no dates, no people assigned to positions yet, and it's the only one on that list I saw like that.

But, yes, "episodic" does tell us that if it actually is green-lighted, they're doing a series.

Edit: I did see a Lost in Space pilot on the list, too, with a couple of people and a start date of March 2, 2004.

( Edit: Folks, I'm sorry, I just realized what forum this topic is in. I'm not trying to rain on the parade so, please, interpret the questions as being an honest pursuit of knowledge, nothing more, nothing less. Thanks, BST )

When was this list put together?? (and I'm not referring to the date at the top of the page).

If you notice, some of the productions have been going on for some time now. For all we know, since this list was not mentioned until now, BSG could have been a part of this list months ago! Or could this have been from the mini-series production (and it was never removed)?

Just something to think about (and to hopefully send someone on a mission finding the answers to my questions). :D

I don't think its from the mini. Why?
It says Season 1.
Also Dead Like Me says Season Two & they give very recent production info for Stargate: Atlantis- two shows which were not OKed until late this fall so I assume this is fairly current info.

BST, I think Peter's checked that list last week and this is an addition.

Koenig: just because BST & I well know the ups and downs of Scifi: Don't get too excited until some details get in there at least. We partied too early once on a really good rumor and believe me, it bites really hard if the plans change or the rumor is false. Wouldn't wish that downer on any other fan.

FYI That production list as well as the one from the UBCP/Actra union is updated weekly. They have rented a production office and a show runner and line producer have been hired.

A new Lost in Space series will be great!
I never heard a word about it before. Has anybody?

Definitely the signs look favorable.
I hope you hear something official soon- in the next week or so.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
Thanks again, Tyrol.

IMDB still shows nothing- no current status. (SG Atlantis shows pre-production)

I hate to tell you this but Jake 2.0 has been listed but has since been cancelled.

BTW Star Treck Enterprise also looks like it may be cancelled. (http://slashdot.org/article.pl?sid=04/01/20/1256233&mode=flat&tid=129&tid=188)

UPN must be taking lessons from Bonnie Hammer.
Cancelling Enterprise would be a stupid thing to do. It's UPN's highest rated show. Plus, I like it. So there. :D

We need more sci-fi, not less. I can't wait until all this reality programming has bored the masses and storytelling becomes fasionable on TV again. :(

I don't watch: reality shows, game shows, sit-coms, cop shows, doctor shows, detective shows or talk shows!

I DO watch sci-fi, some fantasy(not much), news and sports.

Be glad I haven't been really big on Enterprise - pure entertainment shows I like seem to disappear quickly.

I don't see the demise of Enterprise as losing something particularly valuable, myself; but I am a fan of the franchise, and I'd hate to see it disappear. I do think things are picking up now, though - although I agree with others that have said they need to finish the story arc involving the Expanse this season.

Time will tell...

It states what has already been circulating about the Internet for the last several days. I would hardly call it "news".

You're starting to scare me Dawg. Like you I have not been particularly invested in the show "Enterprise". I watched it last week for the first time in a while and actually thought the show was getting better. Like you I fear that "Enterprise" being cancelled could kill the franchise for now.

Maybe if a few more like us watched Star Trek, "Enterprise" on a regular basis it wouldn't be on it's way to cancellation.

But it does confirm what has been stated & it also announces that the info on the production office is current.
Just thought mini-fans would like to know.
I'm sure more postings will occur in the next several days & hopefully an OFFICIAL announcement will be forthcoming.

It "repeats", it does not "confirm", the information.

btw, I did like the :c: "assumed to be Sci-Fi Channel". Since when are copyrights listed this way. In reality, the copyright most likely belongs to Universal.

Humm...
It is toob ad they couldnt have taken a midroad between mini series and episodic. like a 2 hour telemovie every month or somthing.
That was the original idea for Galactica.
I think it might have been a better show if it had stuck with that format since all the best episodes are the 2 parters.
