My God... they got FOUR future Hall of Famers on one basketball team but they've been losing almost every game recently!!! Even the sucky teams are beating them!!!

Granted, Shaq and Malone are injured, but my god they are playing badly!!!

nothing agaisnt the lakers, but i hope they lose and lose hard as long as karl "i'm a baby, feel sorry for me" malone is on the team.

best thing that happened to the jazz is when that jerk left.

LOL!

Well... its not hard to tell where your're from! :D

I haven't seen Malone cry about his predicament. He actually seems to have a really good attitude toward it. But I can see why you would not like him. he did leave the Jaz in hopes for a preeecciiioooussss ring.
;)

I think his leaving was inevitable. It was Stockton. Without him, he's left as the old man in a field of young brash newbies. he would be a dinosaur, and a sore thumb.

but yeah it hurts. I would hate to see Kobe leave.

so how's the team? looks like you'll at least make the playoffs?

thomas7g
April 7th, 2004, 11:02 PM
yup. right now they are battling for top placement which will give them a homefield advantage. They played 11 really good games and had a nice winning streak. But they they slipped and were pretty bad for the last two.

Good luck with your team sir! I see that they may make playoffs. I just hope they don't play Lakers till as late as possible. I would hate to see Utah go against Karl Malone in the playoffs. That would really suck.

Good luck to ya!

This year its going to be real tough. The top four teams can really play some scary basketball. Though its really hard to predict cause any team can go through lapses and I saw all the top teams go through strange droughts recently. Sacramento scares me with their insane shooting. San Antoinio can really shut you down. Minnesota seems good all around. And teh Lakers can have an insanely good offense or it can fall apart. hard to tell which lakers you are going to get.

Pacers are really good this year... but the real worry for me is San Antoine. Ginobli's quick 3 pointers should be illegal! NO FAIR!

someone please beat the lakers so ballbaby malone won't win a ring.

no offence tom

thomas7g

None taken. :D

But well.... I think the Lakers already won it. Timberwolves were probably the best team this season. Them and Spurs. But that unfair scheduling giving the wolves only one day of rest after sacramento gave Lakers the first game. And injuries to Hudson and Cassell pretty much buried them.

Spurs were unbeatable but they did a dinosaur. When Lakers dropped their tried and true offense that they had been depending on for about four years, the Spurs couldn't adapt and went extinct.

As good as Detroit is, I don't think they can beat Lakers if they come to play. But then the lakers have been known to lose to the Clippers cause they didn't have their act together.

:D

I feel for Utah fans who lost their main guy. And yeah he did leave for a ring. But I kinda sympathize. Malone is near the end of his career. And he hasn't been able to be on a team with enough of a payroll to get enough heavy hitters. And then Stockton retired and left him all alone as the old guy surrounded by young kids. And by the time these kids were experienced enough to really make it to the championships, Malone would have been to old.

Personally I espect Malone and Payton cause they came to LA to play hard. They have this devotion and drive that frankly I wish I could see more of from the rest of the Lakers. And I respect how they didn't ask for money. Which I REALLY appreciate after having to suffer from all the pettiness I see from Buss, Shaq, Kobe and Jackson regarding multimilliondollar salaries. So when someone comes to just play and win, its a breath of fresh air.

:D
