Has anyone here ever done business with them? I emailed them asking about their kit; Got an email back from Peter saying that they are currently improving the kits, and will be re-available again in March.

the kits look pretty good (he sent a pic) and seem to be configured for installing electronics and a flash, so I'm really tempted...

The place to ask might be the ASAP (A Site About Props) props and costume boards....
try going to the homepage and looking for a link called Links....there should me a monster list of webpages and one of them is that forum. They know everything about the props and costumes, pretty much.

I am currently in the middle of my first transaction with them ( some small props) But I have had friends who have dealt with Peter several times before.

The product is quite good for the price, You need to do some clean up work on the Resin, But there are very few kits that don't need this. The BSG Blaster is not completely accurate. But I'll tell you, Unless you are looking for a Dead on Blaster, you will not be sorry if you order it.

I have been asking for Prop lists from them for a few years now, and Peter is always happy to help you, and supply a picture of the kit. And again, based on what my friends have said, what you see is what you get.

As a side note, The prop society is a cautious one. It's usually not a good practice to advertise prop makers on open forums. there are currently no licensed BSG props (battlestarGalactica.org was the last one I know of) but other shows and movies do have them. It's not uncommon for the prop maker companies or the lawyers for the shows or movies themselves to watch these boards looking for people making a profit from their property.

Just a work of caution. If you have any other questions about BSG Props, or what have you, you can feel free to email me at ETOC630@hotmail.com. Just put BSG props in the title.

For the record, I picked up the BSG.org Blaster and gunbelt about 3 years ago. Pricy, but I love it. :salute: :)

right side (http://www.photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=933247&size=lg)

This is the piece that is offered by BattlestarGalactica.org It's a solid caste, and came painted. It was an officially licensed product.

Holstered Blaster (http://www.photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=1080101&size=lg)

I also picked up the Gunbelt, holster and recharge cylinders. all in all, great set, a good base for the eventual costume I want to put together. :salute:    :salute:
