IL Cylon costume - advice needed

Hello!
I would welcome any suggestions on how to make an IL Clon costume, i.e. "Lucifer". I have some ideas but as there are many creative heads in this forum, I would really have your input.

I saw some Galacticon-pictures and one guy was dressed as an IL cylon. Does somebody know him? Can somebdoy get me in touch with him?

uhm I think I know who you are talking about... sorry I was out of town - convention... :D and then weather issues. :wtf: if you can give me a few days... I can hunt him down and get ideas on the head part...

the material for the cloak/robe he wore was of the shiny silver look.. What I suggest there is make an under tunic/robe of black ( could be regular cotton - easier to wash to get the body smell out...) and then Joann's and Hancock fabrics have been having sales lately and I saw the perfect silver sheer that they had there. With it being a sheer, it will look awesome on the black. If in doubt, put them together while in the store. Boots, can be any black comfortable boots you have. Remember comfort is an issue. Gloves... black satin gloves gives it that polished look. You can find those in abundance right now due to the proms going on. or EBAY if you are afraid of buying them. lol But the head part... give me a bit of time to dig out who that person is and get ideas for you... =)
