If I'm reading this right, it was Grace and Katee in the running for Starbuck. I wonder how much different the dynamic and fan reaction would have been with Grace as Starbuck.
Personally I think they made the right casting choice between the two.

dec5: sorry, that site is banned from getting referred to here due to the webmaster's antics: his clones, disruptions, and theft of contents from other sites without proper credit.
Chances are if you google Grace's name you will come up with the source interview.

Ted's site is the originating source.

The Grace Park interview in the Battlestar Galactica magazine was the first place where I was aware she tried out for Starbuck.

That was fun. Great interview. And I've got another BG forum to visit.
Go Grace!

The Rain: be careful if you hang there. Not all of the residents may be.....as real as the Velveteen rabbit.
(was that a diplomatic way to say it?)
A good forum would be http://www.subspacebbs.com aka Subspace Relay. *waves to Dennis*

Does anyone have a copy of this, or can you give me the actual link, as I would like to read the article.

Why is it sites who make the most noise and casue the most trouble get all the best interviews...

Yeah I thought it was odd, and apparently so did a few others, that the interview was done under an online handle. It's not like I doubt that it's unauthentic, I just wonder how these sorts of conversations go when people with their internet handles call up TPTB to get an interview with a cast member:
"Hi Sci-Fi? This is CrackHammer2003. I'd like to interview Grace Park. I have Journalist credentials, I interviewed Erik Estrada once for the Idaho Erik Estrada Fan Club!"
Hmm if it's that easy to get her number ;)

It's who you know.
Grace is represented by The Character's Talent Agency (Vancouver office). I did not glean this from the site which hosted the interview. I would suppose that you would have to contact them to arrange an interview.
Alternatively, maybe Aaron could set one up?
Grace was one of my favorite female characters in the miniseries - her and Tricia Helfer. I was not sold on Sackhoff and place her below McDonnell.

I'd be happy to just find an address to send her a note. I think she did an awesome job. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find a fan address for her. Most celebrities have them c/o whatever their agency is. Does anyone have one for her? I manged to find a couple of the others online - fun sending letters out of the country  But I really do appreciate the work they did on the mini, and I'd like to let them know that. After all, everyone needs to hear they're doing a good job, right?
