This thing is so slow that it is almost impossible to manuever. When in bombing mode it is very hard to hit the Cylon heavy tankers. I tried from very high up with no luck. I went in low and managed to blow the tyleum fuel load but was also devestated by the blast. How many missions are on the game disk by the way?

I thought I heard 11. Ask Titon when he's around, I thought he said he made it to the time travel sequence with Dirk and Richard doing Apollo & Starbuck.

Well you doing better than me, have only managed to get as far as mission three, which is the one where the cylons are attempting to board Galactica. Keep getting caught out though. Having said that though have only been picking at the game in odd hourly sessions, so at this rate it will probably be this time next year by the time I complete all the missions.

I made it past the bomber mission plus the subsequent mission. I am now on #13 where I am fighting Cylon Troop Transports again. :D

I'm not too good on the games. It's a good thing
that the game isn't the real thing. Commander Adama
might ask me to go work for Baltar :erk:

Don't feel bad. This game is very difficult. Anyone who says it isn't is a daggit. :D

I just gave Battlestar Galactica: The Game in XBox format to a friend for his 39th birthday. He said that he was having a hard time finding something new to play for his XBox. Considering that he is an "armachair" BSG fan, I know he'll enjoy it!
When he gets to work tomorrow morning, I'll be interested to see what he thinks of it and hew challenging it is to play...at least when I talk to him about it, he'll know what I mean. I have another freind at work with a PS2 - he is also intrigued with my stories on playing BSG. He said that he was seriously thinking about buying it and he's never even seen BSG (he's way under 30).

Bryan

I suppose that I could lend him the 1978 pilot so he would have some idea as to what the game is about. Hmmm.....good idea! Who knows - he might want to check out the entire series, eh?

So where is the weak spot on the tankser?

There are 4 compartments on the tanker. Hit the triangle button to highlight them. You must avoid getting too close or the explosion will also do you in. After knocking them out you will have to knock out three small lynchpins on top of the tanker(Again the triangle button for target location). Good luck and may the force be with you(Actually a Y-Wing on this mission would be better than the bomber which moves like a beached whale).
