What Did We Get For Christmas???

I thought I would start a thread today where we can each (if you want to) share what you got for Christmas... sound good???

Okay, I'll start. I got some clothes (always nice to get, one of which I am wearing now), a "Lion King" soundtrack cd, the Beatles' "Let it Be - Naked" cd (it's cool - it has a whole cd of one of their recording sessions from 1969, and this was one of the only 2 Beatles cds I didn't have yet - yes, I love 'em, and no, nobody is naked on the cd, it's their "raw" recording). And to top it off, I got the wonderful action figure trio of Kirk, Spock and McCoy as a boxed set! (Yes, I dearly love Star Trek TOS too). They will join many friends behind me on the bookshelf, along with Rocky and Bullwinkle, Ren and Stimpy, and a moving Star Wars display. Yes, my office looks more like a kid's room (along with BSG posters all over the place). A stuffed Frosty and Rudolph grace the top of my monitor for the season.

Am cooking Cornish Hens for the fam' with stuffing and rice pilaf (I know, I know, it's silly to have both, but the stuffing is in the birds for flavor).

I got a robe and pajamas, DVD's (most notably TTT Extended version :D), and money from my parents. :girl: :choco:

Mrs. Dawg and I now have a ton of gift cards from all over the place - Blockbuster, Best Buy, etc.

We also gave each other wristwatches (the funny part is that neither of us realized that's what the other was buying!) And, Mrs. Dawg added to my fantasy knife collection (am I spoiled, or what?). I got her some lined leather gloves, too.

Then we had the kids over for the big dinner. Prime Rib, pumpkin pie, the whole nine yards.

It was a good day.

I received the Stu Philips BSG Anthology in the mail yesterday from a friend as a gift.... Otherwise, just the usual stuff!

Lessee... I got a nice collectible Bud beer stein, some scratch off tickets (no winners :(), an Indiana Jones/Adventurer type hat, and some $ from my Dad; Probably get the blaster kit next week I'm hoping :)

A sweater and a sweatshirt from my baby, bath gel and perfume from his parents, a fruit basket from my parents. And the Packers going to the playoffs!

I got to spend time with my brother before he has to go back to active duty. That was my best Christmas present.
I got the usual other things like clothes, bath & body works stuff ect........
but being with family was my best present.
