I think the best Sci Fi cartoon spoof I have ever screened is the Star Trek episode of Futurama. I think it was on about a year ago and had the voices of the surviving cast members of Star Trek TOS. In the episode, The cast members are now living heads in glass jars. An alien intelligence who loves Star Trek tries to acquire the jars as the ultimate Star Trek collectables. The entire episode was a blast and you can see that the writers of the episode really have an affection for the original show. The spoof was not mean-spirited in any way. Seek it out and you will giggle for days.

Ya,I saw that one.

Also,in Family Guy,they had the dog in psych office describing a dream sequence from the Logan's Run movie.

I think it would be cool to compile these little scenes.

There are also quite a few spooftacular flash animation toons floating around the 'net. In case you ever want to expand beyond TV shows pop into Google, you'd be amazed what fan created strangeness you can find.

Try newgrounds.com. They have a lot of Star Wars, Harry Potter, and transformers spoofs there. I'm not sure if they spoof anything else.

And of course, theforce.net ... everyone should see Troops,it is fantastic. They also had a cute one on "Death Star Mechanics" with some maintenance geeks fixing a drink machine during the rebel attack, hilarious stuff.

I read somewhere in a discussion about BSG in pop culture that many ads have used Cylon themes, but I can't remember any.Anyone know of an example or two?

As I recall, the alien made the original cast act out his fanfic scripts.
A loving jab at the foibles of fandom.Should be required viewing for all sf fans.

Troops... man I love that fan film! :D It cracks me up!

I know on celebrity death match they had Mark Hamil and Peter Mahew fighting someone else. I can't remember who they were up against.

I was reading a post about Star Trek:The Gerontological Generation, and remembered something I believe was on the Simpsons:
Star Trek XI: So Very Tired (unsure what number was actually in the title) which had an aging original cast crew.
