The people at the UK's 'Teletext' service have put up another article about BSG in their TV Plus section, under the heading 'Golden Oldie', it's a bit of a tongue-in-cheek look back at the show, from an British point of view. I can put up a transcript a bit later, but for now I'll point you to the links - but be quick though - the pages are updated on a daily basis - and it may not be there for much longer...

Question for Peter or Ian: isn't a bloke usually a guy? (they called Katee a bloke...)

A bloke is a guy. They were being sarcastic.

I hoped they were being sarcastic! It was still funny though (especially if you saw the pic of her & Dirk holding cigars at Starbuck's--he was "prettier" ;) )

*picks up universal translator*

"Starbuck is now played by a male, a guy, a man, called Katee Sackhof."

Make more sense?

"Bloke" is Auzzie for "Dude", I believe.

It's an english word and since the aussies are originally from england they use it to. It's just a slang term like guy, or dude. :)

I've come across this before, though. An american friend of mine thought I was insulting him when I called him a bloke. I had to explain. T'was fun.
