Everyone,

Do remember to write your letters to be mailed on Jan. 2, 2004. You may want to write an extra one right now while you're so enthused about the failure of the mini. If not, then now's the time to write and hold them ready to mail.

We want a monumental flow of letters going to these addresses. Your comments on the mini should go here:

Mr. Bob Wright
NBC
30 Rockefeller Plaza
New York City NY 10112

What you wish Mr. Larson to know about your desires for a movie should be directed to this address:

Mr. Glen A. Larson
c/o Shapiro-Lichtman, Inc.
8827 Beverly Blvd
Los Angeles CA 90048

Encouraging Mr. DeSanto to join Mr. Larson in this endeavor is vital. Please send those letters here:

Mr. Tom DeSanto
c/o William Morris Agency
151 El Camino Dr
Beverly Hill CA 90212

Please feel free to pick this up and post it at whatever site you visit. ASAP. Let's spread the word about getting the word to those who now have the ball in their court.

Thank you,

Ojai you are so correct, now is the time. Two years is way too long to wait for a movie to be made. However I believe we only need to write Larson and DeSanto since the studio question is irrelevent. Larson can go to any studio with his project since he purchased the rights to Galactica.

Do we really want Universal, no matter who the owner is, to have their mitts on the real BG effort? I mean, they have messed with it for years or rather neglected it and the fans for years. Would NBC have any real say as to who's in creative control of Larson's project or would it be Uni?

Kingfish,

It won't hurt to let NBC know how we feel about the mini, just to cover all bases.

It takes awhile to make a regular movie and this one being sci-fi might take a bit longer. Two years is not really such a long time, but it may be finished sooner. I agree that it would be nice to have it next summer, but I don't think that will happen.

Hang in there.......ojai22

Larson OWNS the rights to a Battlestar Galactica Movie. He can go to any studio he chooses. And he hasn't chosen Universal. We're writing NBC because they now own Universal and the SciFi Channel who made the mini.

Perhaps they will learn something from this experience - that is, when there's a large fan base clamoring for a particular show, they might do well to lend an ear to those fans. Will they? Probably not.
