I liked last night well enough, but 20 minutes into the second part, I just stopped caring.
My essential problem is this: I think Ron Moore could have made a really amazing series. Unfortunately, the Battlestar Galactica name was attached to it. Therefore, I kept on trying to process it as Galactica and just couldn't. In the end, I felt like nobody got what they wanted, and that's a shame. Galactica was a fun series that deserves an honest revival, and Moore's "realistic" SF series has a lot of promise...but never the two should meet.

The only character I like is a Cylon. There truly is no hope. The have limited supplies, and no way to make new ammo. I despise Starbuck. Not much here to like.

I liked it better than the first night. I was really drawn to the character development. A lot of criticisim has been made that the show lacks emotion and characters. I found the opposite in watching the second night.

My feelings about part 2 are the same as part 1: indifference. Lee wasn't annoying to me as he was in part 1. I'm still on the fence about Kara. :girl:
