but are these all mini fans looking for a place to talk about the mini and feeling this ain't the place for them?
I hope not :(
BG needs everyones support
Personally I would love to talk to anyone and hear their views. Just as long as they aren't people who like to insult you personally. I won't broker personally attacks on them, And I take none. :)

Yeah, BSG needs support, not what the heck Sci-Fi is broadcasting.
And I don't see how this is going to remain peaceful. The polarization will begin just as it did with Star Trek.

Okay, I've lurked long enough so I registered, hope I can keep all my forums straight.
Brief background, really got into sci fi with books and got hooked with Star Wars (original trilogy)- always preferred that to Star Trek and "Kirk the Flirt." From there segued effortlessly into BSG.
New mini - it was really alternate universe stuff - I enjoyed it as a reimagining, but it lacked the heart and soul.
Past midnight here, so time to sign off.

appears a good number of them are sticking around. Good. And Welcome.
When this first appeared I looking for reveiws of the mini. I was surprised that not reveiwed it. Didn't see it in Time or Newsweek, or even on Good Day Live. People and TV Guide seemed to like it. USA Today tried to give a balanced coverage, Christian Science Moniter reveiwed it and seemed positive about the mini (but they also liked the TOS DVD set very well too), Entertainment Weekly thought it had its moments, but the confusion of whether it was sequel was distracting.
