As we approach what many see as the final stake in the true Galactica's heart i for one see it as the first step in realizeing all of our dreams. First off i'd like to extend an ovation to all the Galactica fans across the net that i've met over the last 10 years. I truely could not have found a more incredible fanbase anywhere. It is *you* the fans that have accomplished this. Even though you may see the new series as a slap in the face to all of us it truely is a remarkable accomplishment.

The powers that be say we are an insignificant part of the Galactica universe. They consider us, the pro-continuation base as no more than a few thousand radical fans, well there about to find out. Over the years i've been after one thing and one thing only, to see the great ship Galactica traverse my television screen as majestic as it did in 1978. I believe we are but months' away from seeing this, i truely do. But first we must deal with what the powers that be consider the *right* direction to take this franchise. Which i,personally, think is another hollywood blunder. Galactica has a heart to it that cannot be captured by a reimagination. It's mystic nature will be lost in the first 15 minutes of the new mini series. It can truely only be recaptured again by those people that made it spectacular before, Glen Larson and the original cast in the roles we today keep alive in our hearts and soles and is the only direction this franchise should have taken from the begining.

Personally for me it's a heart wrenching moment. I've lived a dream folks. 1 hour from now i will have *made* it as they say in the artistic world. In the opening scene, as far as i know, you will see the true Galactica shuttle. This piece of art i put my heart and sole into and am very proud of it. It's not the only thing i made for the mini but as an artist to be in the pivotal first scene it truely is great for me. For the first time something i created will move across television screens throughout the US and i cannot tell you how this makes me feel. But it's not the Galactica i wanted. So be it, i move on and encourage you all to take it for what it's worth. Turn it off if you wish, watch if you like, throw tomatoes at the tv if it makes you feel better. As i might do. In the long run the success of this mini series will impact how Glen moves forward. But i will tell you this, this will not be the only thing of mine concerning the true Galactica to traverse screens across America.

I'M NOT DONE YET!

LONG LIVE THE TRUE BATTLESTAR GALACTICA!

Titon,
Being a CGI artist myself I gotta say I wouldn't wanna be in your shoes. This has got to be a tough one for you to deal with. Finally getting a break, but getting it on something that you so strongly feel against.

Well, don't worry, nobody's gonna be throwing any tomatoes. We all love BSG, but we also know you gotta pay your bills.

I won't be watching, I can't because it's too damn painful. But I will tell you I'm proud of you for being hired to do the job...and I bet she's a beauty!

Don, Michael, and everyone else that fought the fight for so long: you're not the only ones who are not finished yet!

(and the shuttle isn't the only beauty of a ship Don's done.)

Don, the shuttle was pretty neat looking. What other ships did you work on for the show?
