In a nut shell...

Glen's original vision IMO...the 1st 3 hours....anyway,
was based on the Adama family...ala Bonanza's Cartrights. Adama the father of a military family finds himself the leader of what was once a 7000 year old republic that was finally defeated in a 1000 year old space war. This society had a Egyptian influence and was capable of outer galaxy travel...into other galaxies...now found itself fleeing from a alien race that had surrendered itself to their own machines....and no longer were
the lizard beings they were in the begining.

Battlestar Galactica is now the only hope of the 12 colony remnants....to find help...to find Earth.

Moore's Galactica civilization is more earth based...ala Babylon 5....and the Cylons are basically machines that left human society to form their own society ....ala the Matrix.
And now the Cylons want to replace man or at least wipe them out.....The Adama family is now dysfunctional....and Starbuck and Boomer are now babes......and now even the Cylons are getting in the female action...hee hee.

I wouldn't necessarily call Moore's Starbuck a 'babe', dec5.

Grace Park (Moore's Boomer) is a babe, however. :naughty:

However, I agree fully with your assessment of Moore's BSG being nothing at all like our - the real - BSG. It's supposed to be us on that screen, not an alien human society.

You're absolutely right.

I wouldn't put Sackhoff OR #6 in the "babe" column, but as far as the big G goes, the Apogee model flies rings around this new-fangled garbage scow... Even the ship from Quark was better and it WAS a garbage scow! :p

, Larsons Galactica is a mighty ship, more then we seen from Moore, If you were to survive, It would have to be with Green's Adama. In fact, I rather be on Quark's ship, becouse at least they throw away the trash.
