Hi, you may have read elsewhere that I went to the 'Memorabilia' collectors fair at the National Exhibition Centre, near Birmingham on Saturday. I bought myself........ a daggit!
I first saw one at Cult TV in October, which was a deep scarlet color with silver inserts and eyes, about 18" from nose to tail and very cute.
I came across a stall that was selling some homemade merchandise including the daggits yesterday, they were in a variety of colors - white, pink, blue and dark leopard style spots. I went for the classic orange color (what else?!). The stall was also selling things like a cuddly A-Team van (?!), A-Team pillowcases & badges and 'Cult Bears' - little resin bears made over into Sci-fi characters (I got a Cylon bear!)
I can post a picture or two in the next week or so if you want, but it may be difficult to get contact info for the makers for a while yet.
I also picked up from another stall, some more Galactica fridge-magnets with some really cool artwork of Adama, Starbuck & Boomer (I already got Apollo at Cult TV). Check out the website at http://www.carebearjedi.com for those and more products, also artwork from other shows & films.
By your command,
