To commemorate Sci Fi Channels handling of a fair sized fan base, and to illustrate and bring home to Continuation fans. The new Battlestar Galactica Magazine has been released. It apparently came out on the 18. I got a press release for it on around the 19th but have sat on it for a few days. Anyhow if you're a little curious. I saw the magazine today in the periodical isle of my local supermarket. Out of curiousity, I flipped through it. On the very first page, there is a forward by Ron Moore. I was furious at the flagrent crass arrogance of the man. He claims he is a fan of the original series. He then brands the show as a failure. As I continued, I was struck at how many of the people interviewed for the magazine looked down their nose at fans of the original series. This publication is a desperate attempt to generate interest in the mini. It is empty advertising promotion in the guise of a "collectable."

In the back of the magazine, there's a picture of the ship I built for the mini. It's the Celestra, and now that it's been published, I got clearance to talk about it.

I did the best I could to make it like the original, and those were my terms for doing it. So, take a peek if you want, it was fun to build it, though I wish it had been for Tom DeSanto's continuation instead. Maybe it'll make it into that movie, you never know. I'm hoping.
