Hi,

Both games are now restored at Amazon.com. It may have been due to a temporary "fluctuation in supply". Don't you just love that statement? That was their explanation for why my replacement Box Set will take 2 extra weeks to arrive...

Fluctuation in supply. Hmmmm. The backorder rumor must be true. Does anyone understand why I'd think that was GOOD news (though I totally understand Nathan's frustration about waiting)

Mr. DeSanto, a sleeping giant, you said of Galactica? It is too bad your words were not heeded by those in power who could have taken the time to understand what made the giant tick before they file 13ed something faithful in favor of a pile of cliches with a nameplate stuck on it. That's a good point and does indicate that the DVD box set is selling well. Yes, I am frustrated, because Amazon.com sent me a shoddy unit. There was a column of scratches on the front panel, the back panel was notably lopsided, and there were sticky glue marks on the back panel that seeped through. I'd speculate that it was Universal who shipped the item in less than stellar condition. It seems to be shoddy production that just barely made it past quality control at Universal, rather than shipping damage. I hope my replacement set arrives soon.
