I'll watch the first night to check it out but ill probably be let down. Even if it does turn out to be good it won't be as cool as the original was. I'm not much for remakes but maybe it will surprise me. One other thing why are they calling remakes reimagining now? Like the new planet apes movie they didn't call it a remake it was called a reimagining same with the texas chainsaw massacre remake which i don't like. The original is much better and scarier. What is the difference between a reimagining and remake? I don't see any!

My opinion on the difference between a remake and a reimagining is that you have the same characters, basic plot and ideas in a remake. In a reimagining you have someone's vision with only the basic thread of the plot and the name of a popular movie or tv show slapped on there for name recognition in hopes of getting a good rating or weekend gross before the audience realizes what's happened!

Dead on right, Carolyn.

After reading the script, the reviews, seeing the trailers, the interviews...

I hope those who watch it are not too disappointed when they find it's not really Battlestar Galactica, that Sci-Fi has taken them for a ride.
