To all the folks around here that worked on it: AWESOME JOB!

I actually liked it better than the second coming trailer: I think I'm jaded by wanting to see something Richard's written come to the screen as a completed project. BSG he can't control, it's in other's hands, but GWoM is his alone to sail with. It's a wonderful concept with it's own mythos and culture and connection to our world. The depth of smart writing that could happen with it, it would be an excellent saga, with a broader than just sci-fi fan appeal.

And the ships--yum! (David, Tom, & Steve P, Mike M., Don (I think that one ship was yours? series of organically ribbed spheres? somebody tell me that one) Sandy and anyone else that worked on it--wonderful.

The acting on the GWoM trailer is better than the acting in Moores sample trailer, understanding that EJO is the exception in the latter.

Go Richard, go! Sell that thing to some investors and run with it. It's time you had your solo stand in the sun (well under the stars in an adjacent galaxy at least). :warrior:

Hi Jewels!

I'm glad you liked it. :) I built the Kabba dropships and did a multitude of greenscreen compositing work on it, as well as built the "Apollo" shuttle that appears in the film. :)

I haven't seen it in over a year now, so I don't know what survived since last I saw it. I wonder if my death scene at the hands of Jason Carter survived the editing process?

Ken

P.S. I have a new discussion forum!

Is the Great War of Magellan a trailer or a feature? I saw some preliminary artwark a while back and it looked interesting. What is the basic storyline? Where can I see it?

Maybe Ken won that sword fight, Carter no longer has GWoM listed @ http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0141682/ ?

That's funny, dvo. Jason was all over that trailer. He was definitely in it.

Dogfights are tops! Incredible!
There is not a bad spaceship in the lot though. And better acting than in the mini's trailer RDM showed.

Ken there was a sword battle where someone got killed, it was really fast though.

I Hope Richard can get a studio involved with this and get it into production and on the air soon. Universal Studios, Sci-Fi, and Bonnie Hammer need not apply. Maybe Richard should contact Paramount or 20th Century FOX? Star Trek seems to be dying and Star Wars may(or may not) be coming to an end after Episode 3. That seems to be up to what kind of mood George Lucas is in this week. Maybe Richard might have the next big franchize on his hands with this. I hope someone is willing to take a chance.

My death scene was quick. There's a still from it on my website. :)

I can't wait to see the finished trailer.
