Terry Carter had alot of great stories. jewels knows more than me. :D

Jewels was wonderful!

Terry actually had won the part of Boomer. He was reluctant about all the running around, jumping and stunts and stuff like that. He was almost 50 at the time. he doensn't look or act his age!

And he had alot of fun talking to fans!

anyways back to the story, he was all set to do the strenuous role of boomer when he was rollerskating with his wife and while warning her about a hole, he didn't see the hole that ate his foot. He fell to the ground. BUT his foot remained upright!

OUCH!

he lost the part. the ship was leaving without him. Then Glen called up with the role of Tigh.:p

wow talk about the fates having a hand in that. sorry to hear that he was hurt, but no one else could have been tigh.

supposedly this came up cause someone noticed him favoring a leg in the pilot ;)

btw he lives in Norway now. He married a norweigan woman. And now they spend alot of time jetsettig between here and there.

he was near 50 when he got the role of Tigh, but now he's 75 and STILL very energetic about his work. He does producing of projects for PBS. Amoung other projects. :D

Man! he has a TON of energy! :)

oh yeah... he had a funny quip. he refered to that mini as "that show whose name I will NOT mention". :D

we all chuckled at that. :)

oh, you missed Terry Carter's speech. He originally had the role of Boomer! Until he broke his leg. Then they gave him the less running around role of Tigh. :D

Good to hear Terry is doing well. Tigh was always one of my favorite characters...he was definately an untapped potential as far as I was concerned.
