I was very worried that the amount of advertising seemed kinda low. Some obvious stuff I thought would be covered wasn't. I don't know, but I assume they were just very very busy.

The whole convention seemed to have been planned for a smaller sized gathering. The rooms they rented were about the size of the crowd they got. So they filled the rooms well.

it wasn't anywhere near the size of comicon. But at the same time it wasn't empty by a long shot. it filled the hallways and the room. it just wasn't crowded.

But that gave a nice comfortable air to the precedings. The actors were able to mingle with the fans. There weren't long lines. Just small crowds around each member. And the cast also spent some time chatting and hugging with each other. it was like after a interesting class and alot of the students crowd around the teacher to ask questions. about like that.

it was VERY fun. And i hope everyone liked it.

now that I think about it, the size was really amazing. The crowd present was mostly the online community who heard of this by word of mouth. Mostly due probably to Nathan and Micheleh and Darrell posting about it.

There were no commercials, and no real ads that I ever saw. I hadn't seen anything in a magazine or newspaper. Though I might have missed it, but I was looking. No radio. no TV.

Basically this was just the net, and a subset of that willing to pay the money to fly in rent a hotel and pay a couple hundred to see their favorite cast.

WOW!

That many people by internet word of mouth! For a show 25 years old!!!!! :D

There was an ad in Starlog, it doesn't matter how many went, what counts is that they all had a good time, one that they'll remember for the rest of their lives.
