Solar Flare time

Scientists have just spoted some solar flares. That means in a few hours and lasting for a few weeks we will be hit by intense electromagnetic radiation. The ozone will catch it all, but anything that depends on satelites like tv, cable, internet etc may be effected.

The storms should last a few weeks. :(

I saw the large group of sun spots the other day on my SOHO screen saver and wondering when we would be getting some big flares from them. I'm actually surprised it took so long.
