I was just wondering what is the nearest computer to the con that we can announce what is happening at con. My pc will make it pretty late for me to post. Do you girls have access at con?

I'm not sure about internet access downstairs but my laptop WILL be there (never travel without it). (I'm staying at the hotel)
If someone wanted to do a quick write-up, then post-it, I wouldn't object.
(this reminds me, get laptop out, get onto the internet, download the new stuff for at&t.... etc, etc, etc, <G>)

If there's a Lazerquick nearby, they sometimes have internet access you can rent.
:D
I really want to know what happens at those first two panels....

Rhonda, how would you connect it to the net though?
Well... I should be able to write something up when I get home that night. But I may be reaaal tired. :)

Do you think its possible to post an article in forums right after larson's speech? I know alot of folks would LOVE to hear what he has to say!
:D
So how is it going?

Good! I'm parked in front of a computer, as usual!
We will definitely be filming and taping everything we can.

There's a new wireless internet service being rolled out, I think it's called 'WIFI'. Anyway, it's being set up in places like Starbucks, airports, (possibly hotels), etc. In general, places where people congregate. I don't know all the details and don't know how far along the "rollout" is but, the gist of it is that you 'rent' the service at something like $5/hour (??).
Wish I had more concrete information. Sorry.

If Micheleh is there, and posting, does that not suggest there's a computer there with internet access?
Hmmmm?

I call it a 'phone line' =).
At least that's how *I* plan on connecting to the internet. If the Sheraton will let me make a local call, then I can dial-up.
Never had a problem yet =).

Hi Thomas,
bumming the use of my mom & dad's computer (my little one has grandma entertained at the moment )
I'll be out there tomorrow, but don't have a laptop...and I have to crash-learn the controls on the digital camera on my way out. :D 3am will not be fun tomorrow--pray for no deer on my way to the airport--don't want to hit one on my way!
BTW: Anyone announce BG showing at the IMAX on Thursday at Midnight? 818-508-0588 for more info. :)
