I see that the schedule at Galacticon2003 for Friday is 10am sign in then nothing till The Ron Moore Celebrity Roast at 6pm. So how about a protest at the foot of the evil Black Tower let these people know we Don’t Want This Galactica. I completely understand this event is a 25 year celebration but let us not miss a great opportunity to be heard.
Protest, grill MooreRon and by 7pm forget the mini-series the rest of the weekend!
Thoughts??? Who’s onboard?

Some magic markers and poster boards would be useful. Suggested slogans:
Give Bonnie Hammer to the Cylons!
Listen to the Battlestar Galactica Fans! No remake!
SciFi's Remake Sucks!
Battlestar Galactica: Original cast and themes!
Just say no to SciFi's remake!

I'm willing to give the new series a chance. I do not think it will be as good as the original though.

When your watching and listening to Ron ask for the fans to watch his version, make sure your eating popcorn because of his popcorn crack towards the BSG fans.

I can't remember exactly how it went, even though all I would have to do is look it up but time is very small for me right now. :(
It was something along the lines of him saying, if this is not your Galactica , then your popcorn is in a different isle.
I hope that all enjoy his version that are looking forward to it but most fans of Galactica are either against it or just don't care to come back to Galactica even more because of it.
To each their own but this is only one of the dirty little digs that people involved with the new production, have thrown our way. Another was Bonnie saying they had an on line chat and all were in favor of their direction.
I have searched every where and no such chat exists.
Does it exist ? it's possible but I have been in pretty thick with the Battlestar community for the last 2 years or so and no one has mentioned anything to me about a chat that favored something that has very little to do with the show that brought us to this board in the first place.
Once again I won't be watching but it's different strokes for different folks so I hope those that do watch enjoy it.
I'm all for Glen, Richard and Tom Desanto doing a true Galactica production. Of course this is just my opinion.
:)
