I was Ordering DVD's @ Amazon and
Battlestar Galactica - The Complete Epic Series (1978)
# Amazon.com Sales Rank (DVD): 29
Steven Spielberg Presents Taken (2002)
# Amazon.com Sales Rank (DVD): 95
Same release date, same low $80 buck price range, somebody @ Universal, does not THINK this is worth Universal's attention, not The Scifi Channel's? Seems CLEAR AS A SPRING DAY TO ME.
The popularity of Battlestar Galactica, after 25 yarens this could be worded into a "question" for Ron. OH I BET HE COULD WEASEL OUT.

Beating new shows like "West Wing and "Smallville" "Famiy Guy" "Firefly" "Buffy". I wonder how Moores Mini will do?

Thanks dvo, #29 isn't bad for a 25 year old show what they think is a dead .
I agree, universal and sci fi need to take the blinders off and look at what the fans want. Those numbers should tell them that they really do have a sleeping giant on their hands!

29 is an excellent number for a show that is off the air for 25 years and not shown in primetime reruns. What skiffy forgot is that BG was the birth of the sci-fi channel.

Thanks Dvo. I like my avatar too, it was a gift from a great person. (Thanks again Tom)
I always liked Athena, I guess she was sort of a role model for me growing up with BSG.

Hi all,
I've got a question. Has the "release schedule" been announced for ALL of the DVD Regions? I know about Regions 1 & 4, of course but, the question arose about the release for Region 2 and I couldn't find any information about it.
Also, and this is just for my own curiosity, what areas do the Regions encompass and how many regions are there?
Thanks in advance,
BST

I've got another question that kinda follows or adds to BST's question.
I've seen two types of Dvds for sale, both are the complete epic in the cylon box. The one I pre ordered from Amazon has six disks and 999 mins.
The other I've seen is in region 2 &4 and has seven disks with 1166 mins.
Any idea what is going on here??????? Any information would help.
Thanks
Amberstar
BST - Sorry, core control has no information at this time.....
I have no idea what the regions mean or the release dates for them , but I'll be on the look out for it.

I can't answer the BSG DVD Questions, but I know that there are eight DVD Regions. Only six are related to geography though.
Go here for more info and a nifty map;

I've noticed on some of the online retailers (Play & BlackStar) that they are offering two Region 2 Galactica box sets - the limited edition Cylon head with 'lenticular' red eye, and also a standard box set sleeve design.
