What do Rush Limbaugh and Bill O'Reilly have to do with battlestar?

Yeah, there was a time in the fight where letting high visibility figures know what was becoming of Battlestar Galactica seemed helpful. It went some thing like this. Battlestar Galactica=Peace through strength message, family values. GINO=Blame America, tawdry sex.

The campaign has been through many phases, mostly desperate low points but there have been a few high notes like the Colonial Fan Force and the yet fully realized direct to DVD campaign. Our latest tactic is probably the best. Show appreciation of TOS through impressive creative works like The Exodus Audio Series and the fan films done or in progress…giving a DeSanto type something to show the Black Tower after GINO is gone.

Huh...

I guess that answers my question. But just to tip my hand a little, I'm a rabidly liberal guy. I wouldn't expect the conservative talk set to give a rat's butt about fan concerns. Even if you did spin it their direction. And I probably wouldn't have been "plussed" if their attentions DID help the cause.

But oops... I'm getting awfully close to politics here, aren't I?

I'll shut up now.
