Folks,
Old habits die hard. I was checking on some threads at Skiffy, kind of tying up loose ends, since I made my farewell post to that forum, when I saw this one:
Just a few days ago i saw a friend that i hadn't seen in a couple of years, and had lost contact with, to make a long story short, he is associated with the sci-fi channel, thats all that i can disclose, due to himm poss. loosing his job, he was telling me about a memo he saw from some exec. "great publicity where getting out of the sc-fi BB, towards the new BSG, and other numerious web site BB, its greater than our expect., the fans of the OS or doing our marketing for us, even people that don't now the OS, no about the NBSG, from BB'S all over the net, wrer getting free advertisement. just some of what he told me, I thought everyone should no, by your leave, cdmaddair
While I don't read too much into this, there are some elements of truth to it. Unknowingly, we may actually have done Broomstick Bonnie a favor.
