I was VERY impressed by this man's art. (Thanks ken for the link) John Lomazx created some awesome new CG models for the new video game. His work brings to "life" the old spirit of Galactica. They are beautiful models.
Check them out!

Tom -
That's a really cool re-design of the Viper...! The only part that rubs me a bit is the canopy design - but it looks 200% better than the Viper designs for the mini.

I like the viper. Excellant artist. The Galactica for the game turned out pretty nice but it looks like he used the monogram model as reference. Not that i'm complaining, he did an excellant job.
Thanks for the link Tom.

That Viper design kicks a$$. It's nice to see someone taking the original designs a step on. I've seen some great BSG stuff but not much of it is in the using ones imagination to take the next step vein.
The Big G is obviously based on the old Monogram model! ;)

The viper is incredible. It's interesting to compare this design to the one used in the mini. In my opinion, the mini's viper looks lightweight and plastic. It doesn't seem like the type of ship that would be sturdy during combat. Whereas, this ship looks formidable and functional.

You know, I believe that Viper redesign is the Strike Viper from the game. I haven't reached the level that unlocks that particular ship yet, but the picture in the manual claiming that it's "used during your final missions" is a dead ringer for that Viper.
And, BTW, I'd kill for those models.

Hi all,
Thanks so much for the positive feedback and the publicity, it means a lot to me.
Sometime soon I want to remodel that viper into a full cg feature ready model, rather than the ingame one. Im glad you like my design for it.
Keep checking my site for updates in the near future.
Thanks again.
