Now that CF seems to be back online and operational I think we would be remiss if we didn't acknowledge the tremendous efforts of Sandy and his people at CA to help restore order at the Fleets.

For those that don't know, Sandy, aka TwoBrainedCylon, is the admin over at cylon.org. And most of the trouble that hit us with the walkout and just prior occurred while he was in Korea and unable to participate online. So he had no part with either side in the walkout. Yet when he came back, he took the ugly burdon of resolving the matter on his shoulders. He took it upon himself to dwelve into our sesspool and discover the how's and why's and the truth of what was going on. And I can tell you personally, that it was far from fun. And probably the worst way to return from a vacation.

While he did not go in seeking to vindicate CF or the others, he only sought truth, his efforts did clear our name, and clear the air so that we all could go back to being a happy forum (when we are visible).

So alot of of what we enjoy today is because of his efforts.

Being very new to BSG fandom, I honestly didn't know a great deal about the people involved in the recent controversy. I was very distressed to learn that CF might be closed as a result of all the conflict, as I had really enjoyed meeting and interacting with many of the fans here. I had begun posting at CA as well, and read with interest as Sandy undertook the task of investigating the problem and fidning out the truth. I was extremely impressed with the way he stated his conclusions entirely based on fact, without personal attacks or emotion. He didn't go in favoring either side, just seeking the truth. It was a tough job that he did very well. Thanks, Sandy for preserving these forums with your efforts. :thumbsup:
