...I'm going to declare that the target date for the letter writing campaign has been set for Wednesday, 7 January 2004.

That means that we should be prepared to drop our letters into the mailbox on Friday, 2 January 2004.

Mark your calendars, and spread the word far and wide.

The crux of our letters should be as John has suggested:

"We support a continuation of Battlestar Galactica saga, in the capable hands of series creator Glen Larson and prorducer Tom Desanto. If possible we would support the use of original cast members such as Dirk Benedict and Richard Hatch. We are also open to other ideas as well."

At this point, we're going to assume the CEO of NBC is the adressee. We'll have to monitor merger talks to be sure. The fallback is the President of Universal Studios.

Updates will be posted here, at CA, and at the BSG2 Skiffy forum.

BST... fabulous. Thank you for this!

Now... who's going to Galacticon, and what's going to be the most effective method for getting the word out on this?

BTW, the address on the link is:

Viewer Relations
30 Rockefeller Plaza
New York, NY 10112

Oh, and BTW, I'm going to be in NYC 9-14 January 2004. Should the NBC merger go through, and if anyone wants to organize a March on Rockerfeller Plaza during this time frame... PLEASE let me know!

Thanks, Amberstar! It'll take more than two of us, though!

Spread the word about the letters far and wide.

Come late December, I'm sure that I'll become quite annoying with my reminders.

Thanks for your support and belief.

I'm not sure why, but I've just got a feeling that NBC will be more receptive to listening to us than anyone else ever has been before.

Rock on.
